REASONS FOR JOINING : Love the outdoors, and love what my Jimny can do.
VEHICLE(S) OWNED : Jimny PAR (for 8 years); Swift; New Jimny (present)
MAIN MODIFICATIONS : : Old Man Emu Suspension System; Nerf Bars.
MODIFICATIONS PLANNED :
BEST 4WD TRIP : A group of 4 vehicles Fourwheeled around T'dad using as little asphalt as possible. The sections down the east coast beaches and through the Trinity Hills (Galeota to Moruga) were unbelievable.
WORST 4WD EXPERIENCE : Trying to cross a north coast river without walking it first. The fine gravel couldn't support the weight of a human (we sank to our calves) far less the weight of a Jimny. We lifted each corner and using coconut branches were able to drive out (but with a few hundred gallons of water in the interior).
WORST BREAKAGE : : Have been lucky...... never broke anything offroad....but then they have been ZUKIS
FAVORITE TRAIL MEAL : Hot Dogs.
DREAM 4WD VACATION : Australia (Home of Old Man Emu)
WHY TTORC MEMBERSHIP : Gives you an opportunity to enjoy your hobby with like minded individuals. Also there's safety in numbers, when exploring.
