# 8 - Ryan / Kerry

We all met at Gulf City Low Lands promptly at 8.30, on Saturday morning, The weather was great the skies were clear, everyone was excited ,,,,, but then we noticed Frankie's new bright yellow footwear, so after taking a few photos of them, we set out to have a great day of trailing / exploring the land that was old to some, and never seen to many.

Soon after leaving Low Lands, we entered Shirvan Road, and headed through Bucco, Mt Irvin , Black rock where we visited Fort Bennet, Nice view of the ocean from the edge, with some war cannons in the middle, then we welcomed a few words of prayer from Mr Dyanand via Navin's speaker phone,  on the trail a few minutes later, we saw a beautiful beach with some nice angles for climbing on the sand .Most of us took to the sands for some great scenic photos, while uncle Trev pulled out all the stops, by getting some air under the samurai,( off course with miss Leems a safe distance away, with Kerry under the trees )  soon his wide smile turned downwards, when we all realized no one got it on film...........Anil tried…….

We then drove through Plymouth, Arnos Vale , where we saw the historic water wheel,

It was a long drive through Lex Coteaux , Golden Lake , Moriah , Mt Dillion, to Castera where we stop for a view of the beach below, and to stretch our legs a bit....with that in sight and the sweat building,,we headed straight to Englishmans Bay, for a nice swim , the water was deep but cool and clear, just what we needed after a long drive....we took a quick bite, Lewis and Paul went exploring some rocks, Sheldon floated around on the body board for a while, after which he made some new friends,  while Alicia and Leslie –Ann relaxed on the sand in the company of Jerrol.

Then it was off again to the nearby river for a quick crossing /splash which Paul mostly did to every one else, after which we headed for Charlotteville , with our time keeper ( Sheldon ) as we say ''calling the shots'' through Palo Toube , Lance Fourmi , Campbleton then Charlotteville, where we had a nice late lunch, of local dishes at Sharon's ,on the balcony. After which we headed straight for Store bay, to cool off and ended the day there….

At the end, we were thankful for a safe journey, everyone agreed that the day was well spent, we all discovered new and  beautiful places on our sister isle , then we understood why people say “ Sweet T & T

Regards

Ryan….
