Indian Trail - 9th August 2009
Yesterday's Indian Trail turned out to be an interesting Grade 3 - not much
deep mud and slush, in spite of the heavy rainfall of the previous days. But
there were enough challenges to prevent us from relaxing.
There were nine vehicles - Deonarine had a small problem with his large hilux,
but he gamely rode along afterward. Jason joined us later so the number of
vehicles was maintained.
Special thanks to the following - Sheldon for doing a wonderful job as Trail
Leader; Dyanand for providing us all with food and drink - and walking several
kilometers checking the terrain where we could see no trail; David for coming
out to assist Roy with scrutineering, and Shivanand for feeding the guys after
the event. More food than trail.
Thanks to the drivers - Sheldon, Paul, Gowtaram (Brains), Anil, Ravi, Carlvin,
Roland, Deonarine and Jason - and riders Dyanand, Andrea, Roy, Ryan, Ted, Dana
and Bobby for making this a pleasant and entertaining day.
Our appreciation to our professional photographers Sheldon and Andrea - who,
with some assistance from Paul- will have some pictures of the action available
soon.
All the best,
Trevor.
