COMPETITION RULES  FOR EVENT  TO BE HELD ON 13TH JULY 2008.
at Quarry Road in Siparia
 
Briefing    -  At  Monthly Meeting – 1st July, 2008.
 
Entrance Fee   $150.00  -  to be paid at briefing. 
 
Start Time      8:00 AM
 
Scrutineering   7:00 – 7:30 AM
 
7:30 AM  - Walk Through
 
Starting Order -  Drawing at Briefing.
 
 
Note  - 1.  All entrants must attend the Briefing meeting, pay the entrance fee and draw for starting position on July 1st.  NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
 
            2.  Members must use their own vehicles for the competition.
 
 
 
PENALTIES
 
Late arrival at site – after 7:30 AM – 5 points per minute.
 
Diff Locks  -  20 points per axle
 
Tractor Tires (by whatever name) -  50 points
 
Reversing to line up for a turn  -  10 points
 
Roll back  -  10 points
 
Touch Gate  -  10 points
 
Stuck  -  Two tries allowed to free self (use of  winch permitted). 25 points if assist is required to continue competing.
 
Disobeying Marshall – 1st  Offence - 10 points
                                      2nd Offence - Disqualification.
 
Wrong turn (WD) – 15 Points.   Marshall to redirect to route.
 
Course will have a time limit.  Excess Time – 5 points per minute.
