Off Roading in Madamas

January 28th, 2008

Trail Report by Paul Tiah

Excellent start to the new offroading year. This trail along with the participants was the perfect choice for the very first trail. It was scenic and alot of fun, and the comraderie amongst the members and their guests that were present enhanced the whole experience which resulted in a fantastic start to the 2008 calendar of events. Great job folks, and i look forward to our next trail.

Mr. President meets and greets members and potential new members during his walkabout!

Mr. Presidents 4x4 about to be scrutineered( bonnet open), next to the Ole Grazer.

Lopinot road waiting on new member Vidya who went in search of a new Gas tank cover.

While waiting, President Sheldon explained the prerequisites for C.P.E.P, While his faithful followers listened and followed to the T.

.,

Super Z's TOYOTA broke and had to beat a speedy retreat back to base from Lopinot....

At this stage we heard some muffled debate and saw President Sheldon retreat as well.......some say Mr. Scrutineer banished him from the trail due to this item in his vehicle!

Others say he had to leave to go cook lunch for his "madam" as he is under strict rules this year. One or two even speculated that maybe he didn't want to embarrass himself with the old jalopy he was driving....we don't really know....but time will tell.

Then it was trail time.....all vehicles assembled, air'd down and ready to rumble!

Uncle "Trev" in the recently repainted "POS" drove well (with out turning over) and mastered the trail with ease.

Mr Events manager, Frankie had some fuel problems but made it through easily.

traffic jam reaches the forest!, so Uncle Trev does what he does best, and he has an award to prove it!

New member Vidya eager and having a blast while his copilot Mark hangs on.

Fareed shows off a pristine jeep....well built for the trails and quite capable.

Uncle Carlvin treats us to a fine display of downhill finesse.
